DESCRIPTION
Tony makes the Ulu’s out of carbon steel, from old hand saws.
These knifes are fantastic for cutting meat, no more sawing through the meat, you actually use a rolling motion to slide through the meat. These are loved by hunters too, they work great for skinning.
Some people store their Ulu’s in a potholder that has a pocket. We like to store ours on the wall, with a magnetic strip.
Tony also made the saw handle available to store your Ulu - purchased separately.
To clean: Use soap and water after every use, dry immediately to prevent rusting, add a drop of oil to rub into the blade. In time and use, your Ulu may have some discoloration, that is normal and should not affect the performance of the knife. Depending on use, you may need to have it sharpened regularly.
