Camp Knife
DESCRIPTION
The Camp Knife is Homestead made, created from old handsaws, for the carbon steel.
This knife works great for chopping nuts, making slaw, slicing through fruits and vegetables, and cutting small bones.
Some people store their Camp knife in a potholder that has a pocket. I like to store mine on the wall, with a magnetic strip.
Tony has made the saw handle available for storage as well - purchased separately.
To clean: Use soap and water after every use, dry immediately to prevent rusting, add a drop of oil to the rub into the blade. In time and use, your Camp knife may have some discoloration, that is normal and should not affect the performance of the knife. Depending on use, you may need to have it sharpened regularly.
